    New offerings at The Wellness Center

    The Wellness Center has come up with new Executive Check up Packages that will suit each patient’s needs.

    One of the newest tests being offered is the Nutrient Test Panel which measures a combination of minerals and antioxidants that can impact your mental and physical well-being. Vitamin and nutrient imbalances could cause or contribute to many health issues. Experts believe that hair loss, brittle nails, insomnia, rashes, fatigue and a variety of chronic health conditions are often associated with nutritional deficiencies.

    Another new addition to the Executive Check up Packages for women is the ThinPrep Pap Smear Test. In the ThinPrep Pap test, cell samples are collected using a special brush that is immediately washed in a special fluid. The ThinPrep machine then filters out the cells from the solution and deposits them in a thin uniform monolayer on glass slide.

    One of the best things you can do for yourself is to get into a cardiac rehabilitation program, a medically supervised program to help you improve your health and well-being and change your lifestyle habits through exercise training, education and counselling.

    At The Medical City Clark, Cardiac Rehabilitation is a customized program of exercise and education, the goal of which is to help patients regain strength, prevent their condition from getting worse as well as to reduce the risk of future heart problems. TMC Clark’s Cardiac Rehabilitation & Secondary Prevention Program or CARES ads up to a better quality of life.

    TMC Clark’s CARES is managed and supervised by a multi-disciplinary team led by Dr. Jeffrey F. Patawaran and composed of cardiologists, physiatrists, psychiatrists, nurses, physical therapists, dieticians, pharmacists, and other allied health workers. Dr. Patawaran is a Cardiologist and a Cardiac Rehab specialist.

    Dr. Gerard Erikson G. Gonzales, is an active medical staff at the TMC Clark. He specialized in Adult Neurology. He is graduate of Doctor of Medicine at Pamantasang Lungsod ng Maynila and he finished his residency training in Adult Nuerology in 2011. He worked as Clinical Associate at National Neuroscience Institute Singapore.

    Gerard Erickson Gonzales MD FPNA, Internal Medicine- Neurology

    Schedule: Tuesday (9AM-12NN); Wednesday (3PM-5PM)

    Dr. Jose Donato Magno is an Intensivist, a Cardiologist and a Level 3 Echocardiographer at The Medical City Clark. He’s been in dedicated practice for seven years handling cardiac cases and has performed a significant number of open heart surgeries, both bypass and valve surgeries. He graduated from the University of the Philippine College of Medicine and finished his Internship at the Philippine General Hospital.

    Dr. Jeffrey Patawaran is a Cardiac Rehab specialist at The Medical City Clark. He graduated as a Cum Laude at the University of Santo Tomas, Faculty of Medicine and Surgery. He had his Residency training, Adult Cardiology fellowship and Cardiac Rehab Clinical Research Fellowship programs at The Medical City. Dr. Patawaran has handled a significant number of patients with Hypertension and Coronary Artery Disease (CAD).

    Dr.Domicias Albacite is an Internal Medicine doctor specializing in Interventional Cardiology, and Chairman of the Department of Medicine and Head of the Cardiovascular Center of The Medical City Clark.He is ranked 1, Board- Certified of the Philippine College of Cardiology and Philippine College of Physician, a member of the Philippine Society of Cardiac Catheterization and Interventions, and Philippine Society of Echocardiography.

    In his seven years of dedicated practice, he has performed a significant number of IVUS Intravascular Ultrasound which is only available at TMC Clark and Coronary Angioplasty procedures. He graduated from the University of the East of Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Medical Center, Quezon City and finished his Interventional Cardiology Fellowship training at University of the Philippines- Philippine General Hospital, Manila. He has completed his Rotablator and IVUS Training (Rovus Training) at Boston Scientific, Miyazaki Japan in July 2015; and his Basic Interventional Cardiology Mentice program in 2010 at Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

    Dr. Elaine Payumo is an Internal Medicine doctor specializing in Interventional Cardiology at The Medical City Clark. She finished her training at the University of Sto.     Dr. Montoya is a regular Consultant of Department of Internal Medicine at the TMC Clark. He completed his Medical Oncology Training at the national Kidney and Transplant Institute and he also finished his 2 years fellowship training in Medical Oncology at the National Cancer Centre Singapore.
